Moto-Technik sells three-phase standard motors in foot-mounted form (B3) under the CDF range, registered on the Australian energy-efficiency register MEPS. The type designation, for example CDF2.2/B3/4 or CDF22/B3/6, combines the power code before the slash with the B3 mounting form and the pole count as the last digit; the pole count matches the 2 to 6 range carried in the register.

The register lists here 6 versions with 2.2 to 22 kW rated output, 2- to 6-pole, at a voltage of 415 V. Full-load efficiency ranges from 79.8 to 91.61%, and at 75% load from 80.2 to 91.84%. Frame sizes run from 90 to 200, and all six motors carry IP55 protection. Testing followed the legacy standard AS/NZS 1359.5:2000 using test method B.
With frame sizes up to 200 and outputs up to 22 kW, the CDF2.2/B3 range covers the upper power band of the series, used for compressors, larger pumps and heavier conveying equipment; at these outputs, operation on a variable-speed drive is common. The range is manufactured in China.
When buying used, what matters is bearing condition and a checked insulation resistance of the winding, visible overheating marks on the terminal box and fan cover, and a legible nameplate with frame size, pole count and protection rating. The mounting codes B3, B5, B14, B34 and B35 show the motors can also be fitted in other positions via adapters. Spares run through the relevant distributor.
