Mitsubishi Fuso is the Japanese truck and bus maker within the Mitsubishi group, majority-owned by Daimler Truck since 2003; the FB series stands for the light-duty truck stages that preceded today's Canter generation. The FB 433, FB 436 and FB 634 models order the payload class in the first digit and the powertrain in the following ones, while EL, ECL, BCL and RCL mark chassis and cab variants. As the Canter's predecessor, the FB series opened Mitsubishi's route into the European light-truck market.
