Humbaur is a German family business based in Gersthofen near Augsburg, founded in 1957 by Anton Humbaur in Donauwörth as an agency for agricultural machinery; the firm moved to Gersthofen in 1980 and sold its first own car trailer in 1981. Since 1998 horse trailers have been among its core products, and today, under owner Ulrich Humbaur, the company builds around 60,000 trailers a year.
