Heli Forklift – the CPC/CPQ code built from four letter positions
Chinese manufacturer Heli builds the type code of its counterbalance trucks from several positions: "C" stands for counterbalance forklift, the following "P" marks the counterweight construction. The third position gives the fuel — "C" for diesel, "Q" for gasoline/LPG — and an optional trailing "D" marks hydrostatic or torque-converter drive, as seen on CPCD or CPQYD models.

The closing digits give capacity in hundreds of kilograms: CPC10 corresponds to 1,000 kg, CPC25 to roughly 2,500 kg — a pattern visible in the database on models from CPC10 through CPC35, plus CPQ10.
Models recorded here span own weights of 2,150 to 12,510 kg, capacities of 1,000 to 10,000 kg, and lift heights of 3,000 to 4,700 mm; the diesel engines of the heavier line put out considerably more with 6,494 cm³ displacement and 6 cylinders than the lighter models.
