The Ford Ranger is Ford's mid-size pick-up, built since 1983 and developed as a global T6 platform separate from the North American line-up since 2011, produced among other places in Rayong, Thailand, Silverton, South Africa, Argentina and, for the European market, at Ford Otosan in Turkey; the current "Next-Gen" generation has been built on the same platform since 2022. Trim levels range from XLT (base and mid-range) through Wildtrak (lifestyle flagship) and Platinum (luxury) to the Raptor, a performance off-roader with a twin-turbo V6 petrol engine and suspension drawing on Ford Performance's off-road racing experience.
