Dodge WC – US military Weapons Carrier of the Second World War: 3/4-ton 4x4 and 1.5-ton 6x6 versions, straight-six from 3.65 to 3.88 litres, gross weight up to 6 tonnes
The Dodge WC is a series of American military trucks (Weapons Carriers) that Dodge built for the US Army during the Second World War. WC51 and WC52 denote the three-quarter-ton version with 4x4 drive, while WC62 and WC63 denote the one-and-a-half-ton version with 6x6 drive, the WC63 additionally fitted with a winch. All models were powered by a side-valve straight-six of around 3.65 to 3.9 litres. The sturdy ladder-frame construction and simple drivetrain made the WC one of the most widely built American military vehicles of its class.

The WC is regarded today as one of the best-known American trucks of the Second World War, alongside the smaller Jeep.
