Dodge is a brand founded in 1900 by brothers John and Horace Dodge in Detroit, taken over by Chrysler in 1928 and forming its commercial-vehicle and pick-up division ever since. This page gathers Dodge models outside the named ranges: the D100 to D200 and W200 pick-ups of the 1960s and 1970s, the compact Dakota pick-up (from 1987), the full-size Ram range in the 150/1500 to 2500 generations, the Ram Van, the Grand Caravan minivan and the Durango SUV. Until the separate Ram brand was spun off in 2010, the pick-ups were sold as Dodge Ram; designations such as SLT, Laramie and SRT denote equipment and sport lines. The models were powered by Chrysler's own V8 engines (Magnum, PowerTech) and, in the heavier Ram versions, by the Cummins in-line six-cylinder diesel.
