Chevrolet C20 – the three-quarter-ton class of the C/K pickup range: V8 engines of 4.6 to 7.4 litres, trim lines from Custom Deluxe to Cheyenne and Silverado
The C20 formed the three-quarter-ton class in General Motors' C/K pickup range: C stood for rear-wheel drive (K for four-wheel drive), the number 10, 20 or 30 for the payload class between half a ton and a ton. Chevrolet built the range from 1960 to 1987 across several generations, with the third generation, known as the Square Body and built from 1973 to 1987 with its angular body, making up most of the vehicles captured here. The name additions mark the trim lines: Custom, Custom Deluxe and Scottsdale the simpler ones, Cheyenne and Cheyenne Super the mid-range, Silverado the upper trim; Fleetside and Stepside name the flush or the stepped load bed.
