Magirus-Deutz was a commercial-vehicle maker formed in 1936 from the merger of the Ulm-based Magirus works with engine builder Klöckner-Humboldt-Deutz, distinguished by air-cooled Deutz diesel engines and its characteristic round-nosed or cab-over cabin; in 1975 the brand became part of the newly formed Iveco group.
