The register lists here 57 versions with 0.75 to 160 kW, two- to six-pole, full-load efficiencies from 79.2 to 96.2% and at 75% load from 78.2 to 96.4%. Frame sizes run from 80 to 355, all motors are recorded with the full IP55/IP56/IP65/IP66 protection combination. The combination of India, China, Poland and Finland dominates the manufacturing countries (28 of 57), in varying order in the remaining entries too. Testing followed the 2019 GEMS determination throughout, mostly with test method A (46); of 57 motors, 34 reach the 2005 High Efficiency Level (roughly IE2) and 5 the 2018 level (roughly IE3), 18 stay unclassified.

As part of the M3 generation, M3JM supplements the named M3BP range with its own range of mounting forms and, together with M2BAX and ABB's other ranges, covers a broad field of industrial applications, from pumps through fans to conveying plant.

When buying used, what matters is bearing condition and a checked insulation resistance of the winding, the condition of shaft, key and fan cover, and a legible nameplate with frame size, mounting form and efficiency class; a good third of the motors remain without a documented High Efficiency classification, so the nameplate is worth checking closely before buying.
